The Roselle Park Police Department will present a “National Night Out” on Tuesday evening, August 2, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Roselle Park Middle School parking lot located at 57 West Grant Avenue. The Roselle Park Police Department will showcase public safety programs which will include give-a-ways, demonstrations, and displays. DJ Papa Joe Colletti has donated his time to play music throughout the evening.
Prior to the National Night Out activities, the annual town-wide picnic – sponsored by the Roselle Park Community Center Association – will be held along with the first Bocci Ball Tournament of the season in the backyard of the Casano Community Center located at 314 Chestnut Street (adjacent to the Middle School parking lot).
The picnic, which will include free refreshments and the tournament, will start at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the “National Night Out” activities. The evening should truly be an affair for the whole family. Remember to turn your porch light on that evening to show your support against crime.
