The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) will be presenting their annual “National Night Out” on Tuesday Evening, August 7, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Roselle Park Middle School (RPMS) parking lot located at 57 West Grant Avenue. The Roselle Park Police Department will showcase public safety programs. There will also be give-a-ways, demonstrations, and displays along with the landing of the Atlantic Air One Medevac helicopter on the RPMS field.
Prior to the National Night Out activities, the annual town picnic sponsored by the Roselle Park Community Center Association will be held along with the second Bocci Ball Tournament of the season from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the backyard of the Casano Community Center, located at 314 Chestnut Street – adjacent to the Middle School parking lot.
There will be free refreshments. As is the custom, residents can turn their porch lights on that evening to show support against crime. Anyone needing more information can call (908) 245-0666.
