For the first time ever, the municipality will be auctioning vehicles online. Starting August 11th, six (6) vehicles will be available to take bids for two (2) weeks on govdeals.com (link).
In an attempt to provide more revenue for the borough, the suggestion had been made throughout the years by various residents and councilmembers to auction vehicles online. Andrew Casais, the new borough clerk, undertook the project which has resulted in Resolution 212-17.
GovDeals provides services to various government agencies that allow them to sell surplus and confiscated items via the Internet.

Research conducted has the VIN for the 2009 Dodge Charger is listed on carfax.com as 2B3KA43V09H546277 and 1GBJK34F7XF076826 for the 1999 Chevrolet 3500.
The vehicles will be sold in ‘as-is’ condition. The terms and conditions for the auction will be on govdeals.com as well as the municipal website (link) by August 11th.
