Roselle Park Councilmen Joe Accardi and Moe Miranda are sponsoring “Movies in ‘The Park’,” a series of free open-air movie showings to be held on the Roselle Park Library lawn throughout the month of August. This Wednesday, August 11th, “The Tale of Despereaux” will be shown beginning around 8 p.m.
Councilman Joe Accardi, incumbent Second Ward Councilman, is seeking election to a four-year term as Mayor of the Borough of Roselle Park. Councilman Moe Miranda is seeking re-election for a three-year term as Fourth Ward Councilman.
Upcoming movies will include “Up” on August 18th, a double-feature of “The Ant Bully” and “Millions” on August 24th, and a viewer’s choice on September 1st, which can be voted for by logging on to the Republican mayoral candidate’s web site www.joeaccardi.com. All movies are free and open to the public. Popcorn and beverages will be provided by those sponsoring the event.
