MMA International Academy To Host Training Demonstration

On Saturday, January 15th at 2 p.m. the MMA International Academy on Westfield Avenue will be having a training session for the fighters preparing for the Latino MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Soldiers Show in Ponce, Puerto Rico on February 19, 2011. The eight (8) fights, including one female bout, will be representing the New York tri-state area.

Kevin “The Jet” Molina, a local Roselle Park professional fighter at the MMA International Academy with the record of 4-3-1, is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt from the World TaeKwonDo Federation.

“I can’t wait to fight again in Puerto Rico, there is going to be a lot of great fights,” said Kevin, “The last time I fought there I won with a 2nd round knockout so I’m going for another knockout.”

Kevin’s coach, Master Jerry Molina, is a 35 year martial artist and a 5-time Hall of Famer. He has produced state, national , and junior Olympic champions in Olympic Taekwondo and Karate.
