The Municipal Land Use Board (MLUB) set the 12 monthly meetings at their January 8th annual organization meeting.
The governing body responsible for judging issues related to zoning, development, planning, and expansion – along with setting meeting dates – gave the oaths of office to four members, set their budget, and appointed their attorney, planner, and engineer. The nine-member board also elected their chair, vice-chair, and secretary. Loren Harms – who was elected as the Board Of Education President this year – was re-elected as the MLUB Chair for the fifth year in a row. John F. Kennedy was elected as the vice-chair and John ‘Al’ Nitche was – once again – voted in as the board secretary.
Although meetings traditionally were held on the third Mondays of each month, this year, only five monthly meetings are to be held on the third Mondays. As many meetings will be held on the second Monday of the month.
MLUB meetings are held at the Roselle Park Municipal Complex located at 110 East Westfield Avenue and are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
