Dear Parents,
This letter is to assure you that any rumors you may have heard about regarding a student “shooting up the school” have been addressed. This rumor came to our attention after school hours and the Roselle Park Police Department was immediately notified. The police have assured us they will do a full investigation. As always, we err on the side of caution and the district is implementing all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all students. At this juncture, there is no cause for concern or alarm. You will see a police presence tomorrow at the building to assure the students of their safety.
We will keep you informed as needed.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Carlin, Principal
