On January 16, 2011 at 1:43 a.m., patrolman Matthew Disano was executing a property check of the Church Of The Assumption parking lot located at Chiego Place and West Westfield Avenue. He observed a vehicle parked and occupied in the lot. An investigation led to the discovery of small clear plastic cellophane wrap with suspected marijuana in it.
Juan Huertas, 22, of Perth Amboy was arrested and charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of marijuana) and a motor vehicle summons for 39:4-49.1 (possession of CDS in a motor vehicle).
