The Roselle Park Fire Department (RPFD) will be holding a wetdown for their new 2010 Pierce Velocity 105 ft. Heavy Duty Ladder Truck on August 6, 2011.
The wetdown, which is a ritual in which neighboring firefighter squads anoint a new fire truck by spraying it with water firefighting equipment, will take place on West Webster Avenue between Larch Street and Laurel Avenue – in front of the Roselle Park High School (RPHS) from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and will include food, drinks, t-shirts, mugs, games, and lots of water.
