Killa BBQ II Coming July 29th

Killa Seasoning will be holding its second annual food/charity event – Killa BBQ II – on Sunday, July 29th, from noon till 7 p.m. at Knights of Columbus Council #4504 at 1034 Jeanette Avenue in Union Township.

Owner Matt Permison stated, “The idea behind [this] is a charity-community-foodie event that will raise money for two great charities . . . Hidden Warriors (link) and Alex’s Lemonade Stand (link).”

Matt went on to explain the reason for the charities picked, “Hidden Warriors deals with women and breast cancer. This charity is special to me because they were extremely helpful to my sister when she was dealing with her battle with the disease. The second , Alex’s Lemonade Stand, deals with children and pediatric cancer. I chose this charity because of a little warrior in town, Matteo Vitale, who has been battling cancer.”

A portion of all the event’s proceeds will go to these two charities.

The second part of the event involves local businesses and business owners. Each business listed below is either participating as a vendor with a table setup or is a gold sponsor of the event:
