On January 8, 2011 at 1:49 p.m., patrolman Joshua Medrano observed a silver Hyundai traveling eastbound on West Westfield Avenue in violation of 39:3-75 (improper safety glass).
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Locust Street and resulted in the discovery of (5) partially smoked hand rolled cigarettes containing suspected marijuana.
The driver, Carlos Rodriguez, 31, of Orange was arrested and charged with 2C:35-1a(4) (possession of marijuana) and 39:3-75.
Rodriguez was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court hearing on January 13, 2011.
