On August 7, 2011 at around 9:15 p.m. on the 100 block of West Grant Avenue, a caller to 9-1-1 reported an unknown vehicle, described as a possible green or grey sports model 2-door, struck a parked vehicle and fled, possibly towards Faitoute Avenue or got on Garden State Parkway. Sgt. Dominick Frino and Patrolmen Adamski and Deegan responded and searched the area but the search yielded negative results.
A 9:19 p.m., dispatch put out a Union County BOLO (Be On the Look Out).
