Harlem Wizards Return To Roselle Park

On April 18th, the Harlem Wizards return to Roselle Park for the second year in a row for a basketball game fundraiser against the Roselle Park All- Stars – a team of teachers, borough council members, Board Of Education members, alumni, and community leaders.

The event is sponsored by the Roselle Park High School PTSA and funds raised will go towards scholarships for the Class of 2012.

It will two hours of family time where parents, grandparents, and kids can all laugh together with loads of audience participation.

The event will be at the Roselle Park Hugh School (RPHS) gymnasium, located at 185 West Webster Avenue. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18th, with game time starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person before the event and $15 at the door (if available).

The Wizards have toured worldwide to five continents and 22 countries. They have been the playground for some of the NBA’s greatest legends. NBA Top 50 All-Time selections Connie Hawkins and Nate “Tiny” Archibald have both played with the Wizards. In total, over 20 NBA players have played with the Wizards and college greats and blacktop legends have also dotted the Wizards roster.
