On October 25, 2010 at approximately 7:40 a.m., Sgt. David Pitts responded to the 100 block of W. Lincoln Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle burglary. The victim stated that an unknown suspect entered his parked motor vehicle, a 1995 Mercury, and stole his GPS unit which was mounted on the windshield. Entry was gained to the vehicle by smashing the driver’s side window. The GPS unit stolen was a Magellan model 1424 (unknown serial number) valued at $100.00.
