The annual practice of providing free meter parking on the streets of Roselle Park in the area locally known as the t-district for the year-end holiday season will be in effect from tomorrow, December 14th for three weeks.
Resolution 337-18 was passed unanimously by council at last week’s meeting. This provision will have the Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) to cover up street parking meters until Friday, January 4, 2019.
Municipal parking lots already have year-round free parking.
The t-district runs along Westfield Avenue from Walnut Street to Locust Street and on Chestnut Street from Grant Avenue to Westfield Avenue.
