On March 5, 2011 at 4:47 p.m., Patrolman Joshua Medrano conducted a motor vehicle stop which lead to the arrests of Laquan Scott, Aaron Texidor, Gabrielle Giaccone, and Guvens Mondesir. The occupants of the vehicle were in possession of $742 and 14 Ziplock bags containing suspected CDS/ marijuana. They were all charged with the following:
- 2C:35-5 (possession of marijuana with intent to distribute)
- 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of marijuana)
- 2C:35-7 (distribution of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school)
Aaron Texidor, age 18, of Elizabeth, NJ was released pending a Superior Court hearing on March 16, 2011. Guvens Mondesir, age 19, of Roselle, NJ was released pending a Superior Court hearing on March 16, 2011. Laquan Scott, age 21, of Roselle, NJ was committed to Union County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Gabrielle Giaccone, age 22, of Elizabeth, NJ was committed to Union County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
