Five Car Burglaries Reported This Morning On East Side Of Town

The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) received five (5) reported motor vehicle burglaries this morning between 4 and 5 o’clock this morning.

One attempted stolen vehicle that was interrupted by a homeowner, one vehicle that was stolen was located minutes later crashed into a tree approximately one block away, and another vehicle that was stolen and yet to be recovered.

All of the reported crimes were committed on the east side of town near Clay, Spruce, Cherry and Webster Avenues with the majority of vehicles believed to have been left unlocked.

Roselle Park Police remind residents to lock their vehicle at all times and to keep all valuables secure and out of sight. Key fobs, valet keys or vehicle keys should not be left in the vehicle.
