The Roselle Park Community Garden on Valley Road will return for its third year. There will be four (4) opportunities to sign up for a plot with the first registration date being tonight, April 10th from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Casano Community Center.
The program allows residents to plant, grow, and cultivate their own flowers, fruits or vegetables.
Parcels will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for $25; only cash is accepted.
The Roselle Park Community Garden was based on the suggestion and research of Roselle Park resident Alex Haluszczak who presented the idea to the governing body at a municipal budget workshop in 2013.
