First Library Chess Tournament Starts April 10th

The Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library will be holding its first chess tournament starting Monday, April 10th.

The three-round tournament is open to all children ages 5 through 18.

Deadline to register for the competition is Saturday, April 1st.

Round 1	April 10th	Monday	11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Round 2	April 11th	Tuesday	1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Round 3	April 13th	Thursday	2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The first round will give an opportunity for anyone who does not win their first game to continue in the tournament.

Any child wanting to learn chess or brush up on their skills for the competition can join the library’s After School Chess Club.

The chess club meets every Thursday afternoon at the library from 3:30 p.m. till 5 p.m.
