Festival Of India Coming The Evening Of October 10th

The Borough of Roselle Park will be hosting its first “Festival of India” on Saturday, October 10th, from 6 p.m. till 10 o’clock at night. Food will be served from 6 p.m. till 7 p.m.

The cultural fair will be at the Roselle Park High School – located at 185 West Webster Avenue – and will feature traditional food, dance performances, as well as live music from Bharat. Included in the evening’s festivities will be Raas and Garba, which are typical Gujarati folk dances.

The Shivalay Dance Academy (link) will start the event with an opening dance ceremony and live music will be performed by noted singer Varsha Joshi.

Everyone is invited to join the dance floor festivities in the gym area.
