On September 15, 2011 at 8:54 p.m., Sgt. Dominick Frino observed a dark-colored Plymouth traveling northbound on the 100 block of Sheridan Avenue. The vehicle made a right turn onto Madison Avenue eastbound and failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign. A motor vehicle stop resulted in the discovery of two (2) clear plastic Ziplock bags, each containing a white rock substance suspected to be cocaine, and one (1) small glass rod (pipe) which contained an imitation white flower inside. This item is commonly used to ingest the CDS.
Jennifer Clark, age 51 of Elizabeth, was arrested and charged with 2C:35-10(a)(1) (possession of cocaine), 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia), 39:4-49.1(CDS in a motor vehicle), 39:4-144 (failure to stop), and 39:3-76.2(f) (no seat belt). Ms. Clark was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court date on September 29, 2011.
