On Wednesday, June 22nd, at approximately 1:19 in the morning, Patrolman Sam Sukool conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Westfield Avenue on a 2005 Jeep for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, John A. Cross – age 28 from East Orange – was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Cross was placed under arrest and transported to Roselle Park Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with possession of c.d.s. as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. He was served with summonses and released with a future court date.
The following Tuesday, June 28th, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Mr. Cross was pulled over by Patrolman Angelo Marino in the same car on West Westfield Avenue for an equipment violation. This time, Mr. Cross was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and Percocet as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. he was placed under arrest and transported to Roselle Park Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with possession of c.d.s. and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was served with summonses and released with a future court date. Motor vehicle summonses also issued.
