On January16, 2011 at 4:51 p.m., patrolman Joshua Medrano observed a blue Ford traveling westbound on West Westfield Avenue in violation of 39:3-76.2F. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and resulted in the discovery of a hand rolled cigar containing suspected marijuana.
The driver, Dashawn Dickson, 31, of East Orange, was arrested and charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of marijuana); 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia) and 39:4-49.1 (possession of CDS in a motor vehicle).
Dickson was committed to Union County jail in lieu of $1,000.00 bail.
