A game that at times had the West on the road for a repeat win from last year ended with the East winning their sixth game.
The first quarter had the west leading 11-10 but the East came back by the half scoring 9 points over the West’s 5 to make it a 19-16 game. The third quarter had the West trailing by only four points with a 29-25 score but in the end, the East scored 12 points over the West’s 10 to win 41-35.
High scorers were Mike Rottman from the East – with 11 total points – and the West’s Greg Dunkerton with 9 points. Other baskets for the East were made by William Fahoury, Martin Gerry, Carl Holman, Jasmin Larach, Owen Law, Lori Mazzeo, Joshua Medrano, Avsar Patel, and Randi Sheps with assists from Kelly Hardman, Richard Huxford, Denise Lonkaer, Federico Negron, and Greg Polakowski. The West had Rebecca Antonelli, Dina Cashin, Staci Hartzler, Melissa Malone, Jennifer Nicol, Rupen Shah, Jennifer Sousa hit the courts and help Jon Bergbauer, Jason Kaulfers, Steve Matthews, Wilson Rosa, James Salvo, Matthew Talbot score.
In addition to the action on the court, the fundraiser collected $1,500 for student end-of-year events.
This brings the East with a 6-1 win record over the West.
