Dowling’s Irish Pub & Restaurant along with The Nugent Association will be sponsoring a Santa Fun-Run/Walk on Saturday, December 10th, from noon till 4 p.m. to benefit the Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
Race time is at 12:30 p.m. and the $20 fee per person includes draft beer, wine, and soda. Music, which will be provided by Eamonn Ryan, is set to start at 1 p.m.
The run/walk is a mere 200 yards down the street and back.
Children and families are invited to attend.
Participants can put on their Santa suit, reindeer antler, or elf outfit to join in. There will be a prize for best costume.
Those who take part are also asked to bbring a new, unwrapped toy. All gifts collected will be donated to the Linden FMBA Toys For Tots Collection which supports the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
Dowling’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is located at 117 Chestnut Street. Free parking is available at the municipal parking lot which has entrances on Chestnut Street as well as Williams Street.
