Donato Florist, on the corner of West Westfield Avenue and Roosevelt Street, wants to show his support of local police and is asking residents to help. The flower shop, in existence since 1924, is selling blue bow ribbons that residents and customers can purchase for $10.
Owner David Ardente gave his reason for the campaign, “With all the craziness of police being killed in Dallas and Baton Rouge, I just wanted to show support for our law enforcement.”
The $10 for each ribbon will go to local law enforcement agencies including Roselle Park PBA – Local 27.
Customers can visit Donato Florist from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. till 4 o’clock in the afternoon. The florist is open on Sundays from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m.
