On Sunday, February 27, 2011 at approximately 10:59 a.m., Patrolman Nicholas Vaughan responded to 139 East Westfield Avenue (Delta Gas) on a report of theft of fuel. The gas attendant stated a white vehicle pulled into the gas station and requested $15 worth of regular fuel (cash order). After the fueling was complete, the driver of the vehicle who was described as a black female, fled the gas station without paying and traveled westbound on Westfield Avenue. The gas attendant reported that there was also a male passenger in the vehicle but was unable to provide any further information.
A check of the area revealed negative results for the suspect vehicle.
