Costa’s Pizzeria was a second-time winner in the Knights Of Columbus’s sixth “Best Pizza Around” tasting competition this past Saturday, having previously won the inaugural 2013 event.
The well-known eatery on Chestnut Street brought home the trophy – beating out the six other participants which included Galloping Hill and Padonna’s Pizza from Union Township, John’s Caffe from Elizabeth, previous two-time winner Pizza Stop from Kenilworth, and Roselle Park staples Mimi’s Pizza – 2017’s Best Pizza Around winner – and Valentino’s Restaurant.
A crowd of over 170 residents joined in on tasting and judging samples from each participating establishments.
