Roselle Park Police were called to 230 Chestnut Street for a report of a fall victim. Patrolman Sobocinski found the victim, a 37 year old employee of Ecuadesign, Inc., a building contractor based in Newark, lying in the driveway. The worker suffered abrasions to his face but was alert and conscious. Co-workers of the victim told Sobocinski that he had been working on the 2nd story roof when he fell. Roselle Park EMS responded and transported the victim to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.
According to police reports, the fall is now being investigated by the US Department of Labor / OSHA.
