Serving the community for nearly half a century, Community PreSchool has emphasized the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional development of children in an atmosphere of mutual respect, affection and sharing. The school has implemented over the years many teachings and activities to nurture within children high self-esteem and concern for others as well as a love of learning and a respect for all forms of life.

All activities are age and developmentally appropriate for the children and provide the development of language, thinking and problem solving skills, curiosity, large and small muscle development, social competence, self-esteem and positive self-identity. Each classroom, which has a low teacher-to-student ratio, has a state-certified and degreed teacher as well as one or two assistants, with most of the teaching staff have been with the Community PreSchool for many years. Every staff member continues their education and training by undergoing hours of additional training ranging anywhere from 10 to 20 hours each and every year.

Space is limited, so interested families are asked to register early.
