The Church of the Assumption rang in the New Year on December 31, 2011 with a party in the parish’s Loreti Hall. Over 80 parishioners and residents attended to say goodbye to the 2011 and ring in the new year.
The party had four hours of dancing to the music of DJ John DePalma, door prizes, hot & cold hors d’oeuvres, and other delicious ‘home-cooked’ dishes prepared in the church’s own kitchen. Balloons, noise makers, and party hats all added to the festive nature of the evening.
