The community is invited to celebrate the holiday season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Gala on Friday, December 7th, at Michael Mauri Gazebo Park.
Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with family-oriented activities which include pony rides, a Ferris wheel, and live entertainment. Children – while supplies last – can enjoy free pizza, refreshments, and a special holiday treat compliments of the Roselle Park Local PBA 27.
Additional supporters of the event and donors include the Roselle Park Education Association (RPEA), the Community Center Association, the Department of Public Works, the Roselle Park Fire Department (RPFD), the Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD), the Union County EMS, and Roselle Park Dunkin Donuts.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 6 p.m. for photos in the gazebo and stay until 8 p.m.
Beginning at 7:00 p.m., guests will be entertained with seasonal music from Mr. W (Eric Witkowski) and the Roselle Park High School, middle school, and elementary school choirs. There will also be a special performance from Roselle Park’s Dancers Pointe and songs from Councilman Thos Shipley.
The Christmas Tree lighting will follow at 8 p.m.
