Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony December 2nd

Roselle Park’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on the evening of Friday, December 2, 2016. The event will be held at Michael Mauri Park on the corner of Grant Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Activities are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and will include – for the first time – pony rides, a circus, face painting, and photos with Mickey & Minnie Mouse. Children and families will also have an opportunity to have their photographs taken with Santa Claus.

Performances will include holiday favorites from residents as well as Roselle Park school choirs.

The Roselle Park Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local #27 will have free gifts for children from ages 5 through 10 on a first-come-first-serve basis while they last.

After the ceremony, visitors are invited to join the community for free pizza, hot chocolate, donuts, and cookies donated by RP PBA Local 27, the Roselle Park Education Association (RPEA), the Roselle Park Community Center Association, and Dunkin Donuts.

Anyone requesting more information can call community center director Rupen Shah at (908) 245-0666.
