The work needed to repair a broken gas line have been completed and Chestnut Street is once again re-open to traffic.
The Casano Community Center is open to the public and this evening’s yoga class is back on schedule.
Earlier today, at around 9:30, work being performed in relation to a new generator at the Casano Center had a backhoe hit a gas line. This caused an evacuation of residents from the area and closed off Chestnut Street between Grant Avenue and Clay Avenue.
The Farmers Market is still in full effect until this evening and tonight’s “Arts In The Park” Plein Art Painting event is still on. Both these events are at Michael Mauri Park located at the corner of Chestnut Street and East Grant Avenue.
