All six (6) candidates for municipal office have received a formal request from Roselle Park News to sit down for a conversation to discuss their candidacy, policies, platforms, and thoughts. A list of 30 different dates throughout July, August, and September have been proposed in order to offer each candidate ample opportunity to choose a date.
The invitations were personally delivered to each candidate’s residence during the third week of July. Each candidate was asked to respond personally, as it is Roselle Park News’ policy to not discuss such matters with campaign managers, political committee members, or anyone other than the candidate. Once a date is agreed upon, a list of baseline questions will be provided to allow candidates the opportunity to review in order to offer detailed responses that will provide in-depth discussion on their campaign for elected office.
The 30 dates provided were:
- July 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30
- August 6, 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28
- September 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 21, 22, 23, 25
The six candidates for the three 2014 elected offices are:
