On March 14, 2011 at approximately 6:27 p.m., Patrolman Gregory Polakoski responded to the 400 block of Willow Avenue on a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she left that morning at 7:30 a.m. and when she returned at approximately 6:27 p.m. she discovered that her jewelry and cash were missing. The investigation revealed pry marks to front screen window. Pry marks were also observed on the kitchen window in the rear of the residence. The victim stated a metallic black box containing jewelry was taken and an envelope with jewelry and cash was taken.
Detective Dominick Frino responded to the scene for processing.
A canvas of the neighborhood produced negative results. The following date, three (3) juveniles were identified as the actors responsible for this burglary as well a burglary to the Roselle Park Middle School. Two (2) other juveniles were identified as receiving a portion of the stolen property and charged accordingly.
