Roselle Park will holds its annual September 11th Remembrance Service on Friday, September 11th, at 6 p.m. at the Kelly-Kaulfers Memorial Park.
The ceremony will serve to “Honor and Remember” the victims and heroes of the attacks that Tuesday morning 14 years ago.
September 11th, also known as Patriot Day, is a National Day of Service and Remembrance. By presidential decree, the American flag is to be flown at half-staff at all American federal buildings. Flags are also encouraged to be displayed on individual American homes on that day. A moment of silence is observed to correspond with the attacks, beginning at 8:46 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time).
