Board Of Education (BOE) Superintendent Pedro Garrido is asking for residents to join the Roselle Park School District’s (RPSD) Strategic Plan Steering Committee. The 2014-2017 Strategic Plan will serve as a framework that will outline the district’s current status. Additionally, it will provide recommendations as to the direction the school district should follow in order to continue its progress with focused priorities and objectives over the next three years.
Currently there are 14 volunteers which include administrators, teachers, BOE members, and other community members. The goal of the process will be the development of a practical and usable plan that can effectively be communicated to all stakeholders of the school district.
Superintendent Garrido is asking for residents of the Borough to be included in the process. Anyone wanting more information on the details of the committee can contact Mr. Garrido via phone at (908) 245-1197, or through the school district’s web site (link). The first meeting of the committee will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Roselle Park High School.
