“Unfortunately, they fell short of that this year but they were the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group I Sectional I Championship which is nothing to sneeze at,” said Mr. Foy, adding, “That’s an extraordinary accomplishment to be an overall Group I champ one year and come back and win a Sectional title when everybody knows you’re the top dog in Group I . . . That’s an outstanding accomplishment by Coach Fucci and his group.”
In addition to their 11-6 overall record, the team placed third in the Union County Tournament and were third place overall in Group I. Bowler Jarrod Hall finished second in the county Aaron Heimall finished 11th in the state. Mr. Foy stated, “That is an outstanding season for a bowling team. Congratulations.”
