The Board Of Education (BOE) recognized the Rotary Club Of Roselle-Roselle Park Students Of The Month from Roselle Park High School (RPHS) for the first three months of the school year. The Rotary Club presents these awards to those students in the community who are dedicated to service and go above and beyond in their community service.
RPHS Principal Sarah Costa spoke on each student’s achievements during the December 4th school board meeting.
Kaitlyn Donnelly was the October 2018 Student Of The Month. Principal Costa remarked, “Kaitlyn is in the top 1% of her graduating class. Her choices in the classes she has taken reflect a well-rounded student who works hard and challenges herself. . . . She is a proven positive role model in our senior class and in our building. She shows enthusiasm and energy in all that she does.”
Kaitlyn’s list of accomplishments includes membership and participation in the following:

“She is a goal-oriented young woman who possesses a strong desire to succeed and a genuine good nature,” remarked Principal Costa who highlighted Natalie’s service of distinction which included:

Natalie, who has been a Girl Scout for 13 years, was also one of six panelists in this year’s televised debate for Fifth Ward Council which took place at borough hall.
Parth Shah is the December Student Of The Month. Principal Costa stated, “I have known [Parth] since freshman year in a wonderful way. He’s always been volunteering, he’s always been one of those go-to guys when you need somebody to volunteer to help you out, you go to Parth . . . He’s an exceptional student and has earned his seat at the top of his graduating class.”
