The 2016 Candidates Night for those running for the Roselle Park Board Of Education (BOE) is scheduled for Thursday, October 13th.
The event, hosted by the Roselle Park Parent-Teachers Organizations and Parent-Teacher Associations (PTO/PTA), invites all seven (7) BOE candidates to introduce themselves to the public and answer questions from residents.
The forum will allow for opening and closing statements by each candidate; each will have a limit of two minutes in duration. There will be a moderator who will keep time and those in attendance will be able to ask questions of the candidates. The time limit for responding to questions has not been set yet but will be agreed upon before the event.
The seven residents running for three seats on the BOE are:
- Loren Harms
- Matthew Leingang
- Agron Meshi
- Scott Nelson
- Kimberly Powers
- Jeff Regan
- Joseph Signorello, Jr.
The Candidates Night will be held next Thursday at 7 p.m. inside the Roselle Park High School library. The high school is located at 185 West Webster Avenue.
