On September 30, 2011, a resident reported a theft. An investigation revealed unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked south side entrance door of a residence on the 800 block of Locust Street. Upon entering the residence through an area leading to the common hallway of the two story duplex, actor(s) then entered the common basement which had no door and took a bicycle which was stored there. The bicycle stolen is described as a 2011 20-inch boy’s bicycle – grey in color – with the words “Rebel” in black lettering on one of the sides. The bicycle is a Mongoose make bicycle, valued at approximately $165.
No other items appear to have been stolen.
