On July 16, 2011 at approximately 11:25 a.m. Patrolman Richard Hernandez responded to the 400 block of Chester Avenue on a report of a burglary. The victim stated on July 16, 2011 at 12 a.m., he discovered two (2) bicycles missing from his garage located at the end of his driveway in the northwest corner of his property.
The victim stated that he was in his backyard until 11 p.m. when he last observed his bicycles in the garage. At exactly midnight he let his dog out in his backyard and he noticed that the garage door was opened approximately 10 inches from the ground. He entered the garage and noticed both bicycles were missing.
One bicycle was described as a 2011 Men’s Mongoose Maxim 21-speed, 26-inch bicycle, red and silver in color with dual suspension and an after market “Bell” thick gel seat cover valued at $220. The second bicycle was described as a 2003 Nexus Men’s mountain bike 26- inch, blue and silver in color with a ‘unique after market split seat’ valued at $150.
