A little before midnight on Friday, June 10th, Roselle Park Police Patrolman John Fitzgerald responded to a residence on the 400 block of East Westfield Avenue for a report of a burglary to a detached garage and theft of a bicycle.
The resident reported that he observed an unknown male exit the garage and – after he was confronted by the witness – rode off toward Galloping Hill Road on a blue and white bicycle belonging to one of the residents.
The actor left behind a grey bicycle not belonging to anyone near the garage and the actor was described as a male, approximately 5’10 in height, wearing a hat.
A search of the area was unsuccessful in locating anyone involved. Investigation revealed that the garage door was forced open with an unknown object.
