In order to accommodate residents who would not be able to attend a meeting at 3:30 p.m. this Friday, Mayor Carl Hokanson has re-scheduled the Bender Avenue Halloween meeting to Monday, October 26th at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall.
This year, Halloween falls on a Saturday so it is expected that, weather permitting, trick-or-treating will begin earlier and attendance will be more than in previous recent years. The last time October 31st fell on a Saturday was 2009 and Bender Avenue and the surrounding streets were teeming with people.
The meeting is open to all who would like to attend.
Borough Hall is located at 110 East Westfield Avenue.
