Become The 1,500th Donor At May 18th Blood Drive

Roselle Park High School (RPHS) will be hosting a community blood drive on Thursday, May 18th from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

For the past six years, RPHS students, faculty, and staff have worked with the New York Blood Services (NYBS) twice a year to save lives through blood donations, impacting 4,500 lives in the NY/NJ area.

Eligible donors must be at least 16 years old with a signed NJBS parental consent form, weigh 110 lbs. or more, and be in general good health. Eating and drinking at regular meal times will help to ensure a good donation experience.

Previous donors should bring their donor card to help expedite registration but walk-ins are welcomed and all donors can give blood with a photo or signature ID.

Anyone needing more information can call Shauna Lynch from the New York Blood Center at (732) 672-5281.

Roselle Park High School is located at 185 West Webster Avenue.
