The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) took part in ‘No-Shave November’ to show support and help in raising funds for RPPD Lt. Manuel Jimenez who is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer and chronic leukemia.
No-Shave November is a month-long campaign when participants forgo shaving and grooming to raise cancer awareness (link).
RPPD Chief Paul W. Morrison said, “I’m proud of each and every member of this department for their overwhelming show of support during a difficult time in the life of one of our own. Manny is a true professional in the law enforcement field but more than that he is a great person and we all wish him well in his recovery process.”
