The members of the Roselle Park Fire Department (RPFD) welcomed the latest addition to the ‘family’. The new Ladder 2 truck now joins the Rescue 1 engine received last year. On a recent Sunday afternoon, the firefighters participated in a traditional Backing-In ceremony with the Women’s Auxiliary also in attendance, along with local residents and borough officials.
As happened last year with the new Rescue 1 engine, the general public is also invited to a Wet Down celebration on Saturday 6 August from 1 – 6 p.m. on West Webster Avenue between Larch Street and Laurel Avenue (Youth Baseball Fields / RP High School area).
