In line with his promise made at the January 7th annual organization meeting, Council-At-Large Joseph DeIorio will be holding his first “Coffee With The Councilman” get together on Thursday, February 8th, at 5:30 p.m. in Joe & Jody’s Barber Shop.
Councilman DeIorio remarked, “My intent is to have outreach meetings in different business or organization locations throughout the borough. We’re going to have a free flow discussion. It’s going to be informal. It may not have all the food Mayor Hokanson has at his meetings but we’ll have something to nosh on.”
The councilman-at-large was referencing Mayor Hokanson’s quarterly meet & greets which the mayor has held four times a year without fail since before he was mayor when he took office as councilman-at-large in 2009.
Councilman-At-Large DeIorio also requested that any business or organization interested in hosted future “Coffee With The Councilman” event to contact him, stating, “It’ll give businesses an opportunity to showcase some of the products or services that they have.”
