Artie Lange, former member of “The Howard Stern Show” for almost a decade as well as a member of the original MadTV cast, will be appearing in his only Union County area performance on Saturday night, March 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. for the Roselle Park High School PTSA Comedy Night fundraiser. Tickets to the fundraiser at the Union Elks Club – located at 281 Chestnut Street in Union – cost $35 per person.
Guests are encouraged to buy their tickets ahead of time for the show – recommended for adults 18 and over – since it is expected to be a sellout. All proceeds from this event will go for Roselle Park High School’s Project Graduation.
Project Graduation is a program offered by many high schools in which organized, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities are offered as part of a post-graduation party, in lieu of student-run events with alcohol or drugs. The primary aims of Project Graduation activities are to increase awareness of the dangers of drinking, drugging and driving and to reduce the number of youth involved in alcohol and other drug-related highway crashes.
Those interested in purchasing tickets for the event, or those looking for more information, are asked to contact Norine at (908) 245-5065.
